WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE VIVO X80 PRO
The VIVO X80 Pro is now the best device in Vivo’s lineup because the X80 Pro Plus isn’t available yet. The Pro model is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, quick wired and wireless charging, a QHD+ 120Hz OLED screen, and IP68 water and dust protection, which are all features you’d expect from a contemporary premium flagship.
GENERAL
When seen from the front, the X80 Pro and X70 Pro Plus are difficult to distinguish from one another. One feature shared by both devices is a curved 6.78-inch QHD+ OLED panel (120Hz LTPO E5).
Similarities may also be seen on the back, since both worldwide varieties include a black model with a back made of ‘AG Fluorite Glass’. The material used in the black variation is undoubtedly a novel approach to glass, providing a matte-like feel and a glinting, sandpaper-like visual impression. The X80 Pro has a redesigned camera bump, which is the main difference between the two.

VIVO X80 PRO DISPLAY

With LTPO 2.0 technology and a 120Hz refresh rate, the screen here delivers an excellent viewing experience, just as the panel on the X70 Pro Plus did. Vivo claims that the display can drop to 1Hz, however I’ve only ever experienced it lowering to 10Hz when using the pre-installed gallery app and the Kindle app.

VIVO X80 PRO BATTERY
With a 4,700mAh battery and 80W wired charging as opposed to the X70 Pro Plus’ 4,500mAh battery and 55W wired charging, Vivo has also felt the need to improve the battery and wired charging specifications here. In any case, 50W wireless charging is still available on the vivo x80 pro.

TESTS

This is supported by benchmark results as well, which are comparable to or even better than those of rival Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phones in Geekbench, 3DMark Wildlife, and GFXBench’s T-Rex off-screen test. For what it’s worth, we used a fake version of Geekbench called Genshin Impact, and the multi-core score only slightly decreased on the vivo x80 pro.
