At CES, Dell unveiled the XPS 13, an updated model of their well-known ultra-portable clamshell notebook. The new XPS 13 will include a new, higher-resolution 4K display in addition to the newest 8th-generation Intel processors, which should improve performance and efficiency while extending the claimed battery life to up to 11 hours.
Silver and Rose Gold will be the available colours. The keyboard and palm rest on the silver model are a deeper shade of grey, while the exterior is, well, silver. On the other hand, the Rose Gold model is a white laptop with a pinkish-gold lid.

The new XPS 13 features four built-in microphones for voice recognition and Cortana functionality, smaller bezels, a new Infrared camera for Windows Hello authentication, and a new Infrared camera. Naturally, this laptop follows the current trend of placing web cameras underneath the display, which may be uncomfortable for individuals who frequently participate in video conferences.
The 1080p version is available on Dell’s website for $949, while Microsoft’s website sells the 4K version if battery life is more important to you.
